Presidency meeting, 24th October 2009, Tirana – Shqiperia/Albania

During the Presidency meeting that took place in Tirana, Albania on 24th of October the activity reports of each Presidency member since last meeting and Congress in Poland were presented and discussed. The participation of UEF Presidency members in the EU meetings was also a topic of the agenda. Members of the Presidency participated in the meetings of the Advisory Group on Forestry and Cork; Expert level meeting on MCPFE; European Social and Economic Committee; UNECE/FAO Forest Communicators Network, etc.

Activity plans for the following year and Congress period were also presented by all Presidency members. The Next GCM in Annecy 2010 was an important topic during the meeting.

Homepage matters were discussed as well and a decision was taken for the elaboration of a new external UEF publication: “UEF Newsletter”.
