UEF was represented by Hervé Némoz-Rajot, Vice president, in the meeting organized by UNECE-FAO Forests on 17 March in Geneva.
The topic of the meeting was: " Threats to Sustainability of the Forest Sector Workforce".

This workshop discussed the current challenges of the forest sector workforce, experiences at country level as well as needs for International data collection. "What do we need to know and why?"

This topic was in the framework of the Rovaniemi Action Plan about green forest jobs in a Sustainable Forest Management and in a green economy.

UEF had a presentation, including propositions and professional foresters' point of view.
At the end of the day, two efficient workshops produced practical propositions, including UEF ideas.

All the materials and presentations will be soon available in the UNECE-FAO website.
And you can find here the UEF presentation, attached and the main results of the workshop.
