During the Governing Council Meeting held in Puszczykowo, near Poznan in Poland, on 5 Septembre 2020, the Union of European Foresters adopted a position paper: "European woodlands need multifunctional and sustainable Forest Management, based on a new financing system".

In the really interesting background of the European Green Deal, of the discussions about the new European forest strategy and the new European biodiversity strategy, UEF takes a clear position and asks for some changes in the EU policies.

This position paper was sent to the EU Commission authorities.

UEF, as a partner and constructive representative of the European professional foresters, will  explain these positions and make people aware of them.

Please, have a look at this new position paper, using this direct link: http://european-foresters.eu/docs/meetings/gcm/UEF%20Position%20Paper%20September%202020.pdf

You can download it and spread it all around Europe.
